Choice of Carrier
Due to the fragile nature of our products, breakage in shipping is always a possibility regardless of the packaging used. Unfortunately, claims for breakage are not always honored by the carrier responsible. Because of this situation, Beaumont in turn cannot be held liable for any breakage whatsoever during shipping. Title to the goods passes to the buyer upon release to the carrier. Claims for breakage and delays in transit must be filed directly with your carrier within 14 days of receipt of merchandise. We strongly urge all our customers to setup an account with a freight carrier of their choice based on their policy to cover your claim should breakage occur. We suggest you consider a recognized motor freight transport company rather than a courier for this service. We appreciate your understanding in this manner.
Manufacture Packaging
Every manufacture supplies some type of box which can vary from one manufacture to another. This packaging is usually adequate when they are shipped on a pallet, but are usually not designed for shipping individually by a courier. We usually can ship your drinkware in the manufacture packaging but we recommend our custom double packaging for better protection.
Beaumont Double Packaging
We take some of the worry out of shipping by adding another layer of corrugated card between layers of mugs and to the corners of fragile glass that we feel may be damaged from courier shipping.
Double packaging is an additional charge but will better protect your investment while it is being shipped.
We also offer additional insurance for extra protection if you also choose double packaging.
Pallet quantities
If shipments are made by the pallet, double packaging is usually not required. This is generally the safest way to ship since individual packages are not being handled or tossed by shipping personnel. A standard pallet charge of $15 will be added for each pallet shipped.
